Children must be at least 3 years of age by the first day of class and must be comfortable being in the water without a parent to register for these classes. 1 on 1 instruction will be provided for swimmers looking for more individual attention during class. The Learn to Swim Program will be focused on, but each class will be custom tailored to the needs of the participant. Make up classes will only be offered if the classes are cancelled by NPRD and not in the case of the student absence for any reason.

The station method is utilized to move students through a series of levels. Children are REQUIRED to attend the testing day prior to the first session they are registered for.
