This class is a babysitting preparation program designed for boys and girls. Safe Sitter is a positive experience for each participant. Topics include babysitting as a business, success on the job, childcare essentials, safety for the sitter, injury management, preventing problem behavior and care of choking infant and child. Gondolas, chips and drinks will be served for lunch. The fee includes course materials and lunch.

This five-week, disc golf program focuses on developing the necessary skills to introduce and develop basic mechanics of disc golf! There is a focus on form, throwing and footwork that's needed to be a great overall player! Participants will learn the basic mechanics and slowly progress to playing a mini "9-hole" round on the Disc Golf Course. All players receive their own 3-disc beginner set at the conclusion of the program.

No experience necessary! Weekly classes are designed for young athletes who are ready to explore the world of cheerleading. Participants will cheer, dance, stunt, jump and tumble! Detailed information will be emailed at the start of each session. Fee includes a t-shirt and bow.

Designed specifically for young dancers who are ready to explore the world of poms! This beginner level class covers pom dance basics such as arm motions, strength and coordination. Dancers use pom poms while learning basic choreography and dance terminology.
Jazz shoes or dance shoes. Please no outside footwear.

The Before School Recreation Program is offered at eight local Unit 5 elementary school sites. The program runs from 6:45-7:30 am. The program is designed to provide students with recreational, educational, and social opportunities in a safe environment. Students may participate in recreation activities, games, and crafts.

Children must be at least 3 years of age by the first day of class and must be comfortable being in the water without a parent to register for these classes. 1 on 1 instruction will be provided for swimmers looking for more individual attention during class. The Learn to Swim Program will be focused on, but each class will be custom tailored to the needs of the participant. Make up classes will only be offered if the classes are cancelled by NPRD and not in the case of the student absence for any reason.
